Hunter The Restaurant is a full-service, French-Mediterranean restaurant, located in East Norwich, Long Island, New York. Designed by acclaimed Architects Bentel and Bentel, the Restaurant combines modern minimalist elegant finishes with an inviting, comfortable approachability. Our visionary Chef-driven method of hospitality thrives on the aptitude to deliver our timeless, authentic, healthy coastal Mediterranean offerings, with a smile and the necessary attention to detail.
We employ this unwavering ability to deliver such quality by sourcing the finest components from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and combining them with enthusiasm and experience. The Hunter Restaurant therefore is the perfect choice for any occasion, a romantic date, a friendly get-together, a family gathering or a large elaborate celebration. We accommodate large or private events too. Outdoor dining on our patio is available May through October.
About the Chef
Hunter Wells is the innovative chef and passionate sole owner of The Hunter Restaurant. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, his technique driven approach is guided by creativity, synergy, a puristic taste, and a meticulous uncompromising attention to detail.
He emphasizes precision in execution above all else, with a particular confidence that comes from an intrinsic understanding and respect for the craft. Chef Hunter strives to delight guests by respecting yet transforming the highest quality raw ingredients into his own expressions.
